The 2027 Volvo EX60 offers a trio of long-range electric powertrain options, with between 300 and 400 miles of range1 and up to 670 horsepower on tap. In addition, the Volvo EX60 arrives with impressive driver-assistance technology and signature Scandinavian design, delivering both luxury and convenience every time you're behind the wheel. All of these factors make it a great choice for Houston drivers.
Volvo EX60 Specs & Powertrain Options
With three powertrain options on the table, the 2027 Volvo EX60 specs will depend on which model you choose to bring home from Volvo Cars Clear Lake. Whether you choose the P6, P10, or the soon-to-come P12 versions of the Volvo EX60, you'll get a range of different performance levels to work with in Friendswood, TX. The base P6 is rear-wheel drive only and comes with an 83-kWh battery pack producing 369 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque. That combination will get you from zero to 60 mph in 5.7 seconds.
Jumping up to the Volvo EX60 P10 earns you all-wheel drive capability and some extra grunt thanks to a 95-kWh battery pack. With motors on the front and rear axles, you'll now have 503 horsepower and 524 pound-feet of torque to play with, along with the ability to go from zero to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds.
While the Volvo EX60 P12 has not yet arrived at our Friendswood dealership, we anticipate it will be the boldest expression of Volvo EX60 performance when it does. You'll retain all-wheel drive; however, with a larger 117-kWh battery pack, this configuration is expected to achieve 670 horsepower. That means 0-60 mph flies by in just 3.8 seconds, making this iteration the quickest of the bunch.

Volvo EX60 Range: How Far Will the Volvo EX60 Take You?
The Volvo EX60 electric SUV offers three range targets. The P6 gives you up to 307 miles of range1, while the more powerful P10 can reach up to 322 miles1 with a full charge. The yet-to-be-released P12 is estimated to score up to 400 miles of range,1 which means it boasts the longest range of any Volvo EV currently.
Even with the P6, you could commute from Friendstown to Houston five days a week and still have enough range left over for weekend errands without having to recharge.1
Convenient Volvo EX60 Charging Solutions
The Volvo EX60 is the latest EV to join the Volvo electric lineup, and with that comes the latest charging technology. Thanks to the standard NACS charging port, you have access to the entire Tesla Supercharger network when it's time to plug in and charge your Volvo EX60. Charging time can be as quick as 16 minutes on a public DC fast charger2, getting you from 10% to 80% state of charge before you've even finished your lunch. To date, the Volvo EX60 charges faster than any other fully electric Volvo car and is anticipated to be one of the fastest-charging models in its class.
You can also use at-home charging solutions to charge your Volvo electric SUV overnight. Recharge time is a function of battery pack size, which means the smallest Volvo EX60 P6 battery pack can charge from 0% to 100% in just eight hours,2 while the 95-kWh battery in the P10 charges in nine hours.2 The at-home charging time for the upcoming Volvo EX60 P12 has not been revealed yet.

We had a very nice experience at this Volvo dealership in Clear Lake. Our salesman (Adrian - easy for me to remember his name!) was top-notch. To be honest, we were greeted by and talked with other people besides our salesperson, and they were all very kind. The paperwork part was even quicker and more straightforward, which was better than the experiences we have had at other dealerships. This was our first time test-driving/buying a Volvo, and it was a very easy and pleasant experience. I ended up in a different car than I planned on buying, but I love it more than the one I went there to buy! Easy process. Kind people. Classy car. It was an all-around WONDERFUL experience.
